Civil Engineer (EIT)

Triangle Engineering LLC is looking for a Civil Engineer – EIT. As our employee, you qualify for our full benefit package.
 

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs civil design calculations (i.e., grading, drainage, paving, geometric design, utility design), sketches, technical comparisons and similar technical work as required by assignment

• Coordinates project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians in his/her discipline group

• Reviews drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and recommends necessary changes

• Researches code issues and works with City, State, and County officials

• Researches design options and documents findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers

• Assists with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers
   

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering

• Must be a Licensed Engineer in Training (EIT) in Texas

• 2+ years experience in major commercial, industrial civil engineering and land development environments

• Understand the principles and practices of land surveying

• 2+ years experience Autocad or Civil 3D

• Understanding of Planning and Entitlement processing

• Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills
